How many more I cannot be certain but I would advocate perhaps 8 or 9 ships per fleet not counting your own fleet as wiping out all the ones on-screen did not instantly end the battle. Per the video I posted with the frikkin laser beam- a given fleet seems to be over 3 ships. You yourself have only a single fleet under your command while the Kooluk have three. Suikoden 4 is almost entirely based on naval battles and as such has few numbers for armies. However we are told that of an invading Harmonian army (for reference Harmonia sent a significant part of the 50,000 in the last game) half are an illusion and are not real. I do not believe Suikoden 3 uses exact numbers for the armies like the previous titles as the war games were much more centered around the heroes in it. Characters you encounter as children in Suikoden 2 have grown into teens or outright adults. Suikoden 3 takes place 15 years after Suikoden 2. Suikoden 2 for the record takes place 3 years after Suikoden 1 and is against a different country so even if the Liberation Army was 100% the same soldiers from before that still gives Luca Blight's 50,000 to the total theoretical number which now should be around 350,000. That is including the summoned 80,000 monsters which are not necessarily on the field of battle at the start.Īt the time of killing Luca Blight the 2nd Liberation Army is 20,000 strong while Luca Blight and his Harmonia back-up are 50,000 strong. Seems likely given that also assumes the Liberation Army never suffered a single casualty to end the game with 100,000 to boot. That would bring the total troops available as of Suikoden 1 to almost 300,000. The Empire has 20,000 plus the 80,000 summoned with the Gate Rune.Ī single General's army from earlier in the game number over 20,000 (I believe the total was 24,000 IIRC, 8 + 6 + 10) and the Empire had 5 Generals that you defeat one by one over the course of the game and I do not believe this counts the final 20,000 you face but will assume it is for lowballing purposes. The Liberation Army numbers 100,000 at the final battle. These enemies have resistant towards your Shotgun+stone staff since they deal physical damage.I'll edit this into my previous comment but I combed through some game scripts/walkthroughs to see if I could easily find troops numbers and it turns out I could to a degree. Earth weak against Ice and Arcane and mountain trolls fire, lightning and headshots. Armored Ogres are weak against Lightning. Magic Longbow, Arcane staff, or Lightning staff is pretty decent for headshots against armored enemies.Īs for traps, try bringing in traps that hurt them. Shotgun + Stone staff, is good but personally i dont like it very much because of the reload thing and its really hard to get a good headshot with the weapon and you need to be close to deal maximum damage. What ways are you guys killing these really big guys? I typically use the Shotgun or the Stone Staff but it doesn't really give a good kick of damage and I'm shooting at them and following them all over the map. Or also some bosses in War Maps give me trouble as they also run through all my traps. Some Armored Orcs or Mountain Trolls or Elemental Overlords just seem to walk right past all my traps which causes a whole bunch of little guys to walk right after them and not take damage.
